About Us: Join our enthusiastic volunteer team at 1st Cuffley Scout Group, where we provide exciting and educational experiences for young people. Our Scout Group is a lively community that values adventure, teamwork, and personal growth.
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and improvement of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all Scout Group facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and fit for purpose.
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of regular maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
- Support the planning and execution of events and activities by ensuring facilities are prepared and available.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- A commitment to the values and mission of the Scout Association.
