HQ Maintenance Day 2022

We’re planning a Group HQ Maintenance Day for Saturday 26 March 2022.
Our day will commence at 10am and we’ll seek to finish work by 4pm, followed by a review session at the Plough.
We will focus on:

Repairing, cleaning and decorating the Annexe building used by our Explorers;

Servicing, cleaning and pitching our marquees;
-
Painting the outside walls of the HQ and other out buildings;

Further leaf clearing, bush cutting, and other springtime cleaning and tidy-up work;

Refitting the blinds in the main hut;
-
Window cleaning;
-
Tidying and cleaning the HQ, loft, garage and other areas;
-
Updating and refining our equipment database;
-
Sprucing up our campfire area and maintaining our fences.
Please indicate the assistance you can afford us by speaking with one of our section leaders or texting 07784 861218 with your offer to help for either for the whole day (with a stop for a ‘chip shop’ lunch) or for part of it, with an advice for when we may expect you.

For practical and safety reasons, may we request that children under 10 years do not attend*. Those over 10 are welcome to join us if they are willing to work!
