Potters Bar and District Scouts’  Cyclocross competition for Cubs*, Scouts and Explorers will be held on Sunday 1 October 2023.

• Venue: “The Pits” in Coopers Road, Little Heath, EN6 1JG. (map ref 264 023) (beside the Football pitch)
• Date: Sunday 1 October 2023
• Time: between 2 and 5 pm.
• Please bring your cycle helmet to wear for the event.

This Cyclocross is a timed challenge and individuals will take it in turn to complete the course through the woods. Cyclists should not be too surprised if they and their bikes get petty muddy if conditions are wet.  All riders will be expected to walk the course before the timed trials start. 

Entry to this event is available for all Cuffley Cubs, Scouts and Explorers and leaders/parents.

It is expected that the Cubs’ event will start at 2:30 pm and finish about 3:30pm and the Scout event to start at 3:30 and finish at 4:30. When the Scouts’ race has finished, there will be an Explorer Scout, leader and parent race.

As well as the individual’s competition, there is also a team trophy for the Pack and Troop with the best 3 individual times.

Refreshments will be provided by 1st Little Heath & Potters Bar Scout Group as part of their fund raising activities.
