Clothes bank

We’ve installed a clothes bank as a environmental fundraising initiative.

Through this we are collecting:

  • CLOTHES;
  • TOWELS;
  • SHEETS;
  • BLANKETS;
  • CURTAINS;
  • SHOES (IN PAIRS)
  • SLEEPING BAGS

… all of which must be in good condition as they’re being sold on and recycled as a fundraiser.

We’ll be:

  • Opening our grounds on Saturday mornings between 10 am and 12 noon to receive ‘socially distanced’ drive-by drop-off member and community donations;
  • Requesting member donations when we return to meetings at the HQ;
  • Requesting donations from our local community and organising targeted boundary collections.

Please afford us your support

OPEN FROM SATURDAY 4 JULY 2020

We’re seeking to recycle many types of clothing, accessories and household fabrics, including shoes, bags, belts, hats, gloves, bed linen, towels and sleeping bags.

We are not collecting through our clothes bank

  • Clothing with school logo or work logos;
  • Footwear or accessories that show any heavy signs of damage or stains;
  • Any items that are originally sold as a pair such as footwear and gloves unless they are sent as a pair;
  • Carpet.

If you have pre-loved Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer or Leader uniform items please will you hand these to one of leaders or Executive Committee members.
