Clothes Bank

We’ve installed a Clothes Bank recycling facility in the grounds of our headquarters.
DONATIONS MAY BE DELIVERED TO OUR HQ ON
SATURDAY MORNINGS BETWEEN 10.00 & 12.00*
Through this we are now collecting donations of:
CLOTHES including HATS and TIES
GLOVES (in pairs)
TOWELS
SHEETS
BLANKETS
CURTAINS
SHOES (in pairs)
BELTS
… ALL OF WHICH SHOULD BE IN GOOD CONDITION AS THEY ARE BEING SOLD ON AND RECYCLED AS A FUNDRAISER.

Environmental Fundraising

Clothes bank
We’ve installed a clothes bank as a environmental fundraising initiative.
Through this we are collecting:

CLOTHES;
TOWELS;
SHEETS;
BLANKETS;
CURTAINS;
SHOES (IN PAIRS)
SLEEPING BAGS

… all of which must be in good condition as they’re being sold on and recycled as a fundraiser.
We’ll be:

Opening our grounds on Saturday mornings between 10 am and 12 noon to receive ‘socially distanced’ drive-by drop-off member and community donations;

Coronavirus impact

Information about the impact of the Covid-19 virus on our Scout Group.
All face-to-face scouting meetings and activities have been suspended by the Scout Association until further notice. As Scouting is all about team work, getting outdoors and learning skills for life this is directing how we organise and manage things for te forseeable future.

Cuffley Explorers attended the 24th World Scout Jamboree

Cuffley Explorer Unit Jamboree Visit
Three Cuffley Explorers attended the 24th World Scout Jamboree hosted by Scouts Canada, Asociación de Scouts de México, and the Boy Scouts of America. They are joined Scouts from around the globe to gather at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve, West Virginia, USA. 
Our Explorers were members two Hertfordshire Scout County Units.
