About Us: Join our enthusiastic volunteer team at 1st Cuffley Scout Group, where we provide exciting and educational experiences for young people. Our Scout Group is a lively community that values adventure, teamwork, and personal growth.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and improvement of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all Scout Group facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and fit for purpose.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
  • Support the planning and execution of events and activities by ensuring facilities are prepared and available.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • A commitment to the values and mission of the Scout Association.
