DESCRIPTION:Our Scouts’ Jumble Sale is just around the corner – and we need your help to make it happen!\n\nThis annual event is a key fundraiser for the 1st Cuffley Scout Group\, helping us provide life-changing opportunities\, skills\, and adventures for our young people. Whether you’re able to donate items\, lend a hand on the day/in the run up\, or help spread the word\, your support truly makes a difference. \nJumble Sale \n🗓 Event Date: Saturday 4 October 2025 \n📍 Location: Cuffley Scout Hut\, Church Close\, Cuffley\, Potters Bar\, Hertfordshire\, EN6 4LS\, behind St Martin de Porres church \n🕙 Time: 2-4pm \n  \n🧺 Donate and Recycle Your Unwanted Items\nWe will be collecting good-quality items to sell at the jumble Sale\, including: \n\nClothing & Accessories\nBooks & Toys\nHomeware & Kitchen Items\nGames\, Sports Gear & Miscellaneous Bric-a-Brac\n\n(No knives or upholstery) \nUltimately\, if it’s clean\, usable\, and could help raise funds for our Group\, we’d love to have it! 100% of proceeds go towards supporting the 1st Cuffley Scout Group. \n  \nDrop-off at the Cuffley Scout Hut: \n\nFriday 3 October\, 6-8pm\nSaturday 4 October\, 10am-12pm\n\nOccasionally we may be able to arrange a collection if you need additional assistance – contact Nat on 07956 9622111 to discuss. \n  \n🙋 Volunteer on the Day\nSince it takes a huge team to run an event like this – we’d love your help! Whether it’s sorting donations\, setting up tables\, selling\, serving refreshments\, or tidying up afterward\, every helping hand counts. \nYou don’t need to be a Scout parent to get involved – if you have a couple of hours to spare\, we’d be incredibly grateful. \nSign up here \n  \n🛍️ Come Along & Show Your Support\nEven if you can’t donate or volunteer\, we’d love to see you on the day – all in support of a great cause. \n  \nWhy It Matters\nAll funds raised from the jumble sale go directly towards the 1st Cuffley Scout Group\, helping cover the costs of equipment\, camps\, and activities that help our young people grow in confidence\, resilience\, and friendship. \nWith your help\, we can keep Scouting accessible and inspiring for everyone. \n \n🙏 Thank you for supporting our Group – however you can.
