DESCRIPTION:  \nST GEORGE \nTHE PATRON SAINT OF SCOUTING & ENGLAND\n \nPromise renewal\nOur County Commissioner\, Liz Walker\, is leading the whole Scout County in a Promise Renewal Ceremony tomorrow at 7.30pm live on Facebook to celebrate St George’s Day.\nAnd we’d like as many of you to join us as possible. Here’s her message : \n“Calling all members of Hertfordshire Scouts and beyond. In these difficult times I hope that you and your families are safe and well. It’s a challenging time for all of us and I am proud of all that is going on – from online meetings\, amazing activities being done at home including camping and I’m so proud of all our amazing team and parents who are on the front line as key workers helping us all though this. \nI’d like to take a moment and still celebrate all that makes us Scouts and what brings us together\, all be it slightly different to our normal celebrations\, and as you to join me to renew your Promise this St George’s day (Thursday 23rd April) at 7.30pm”. \nJoin us via Facebook live \nWe understand that some of you may not have Facebook so alternatively please join us via Microsoft Teams. You can use Microsoft Teams on a computer\, tablet or smart phone. If you need help with setting Microsoft Teams up please email comms@hertfordshirescouts.org.uk and the team will be able to help. \nOnce we have renewed our Promises it will be time to go out and ‘Clap for the Key Workers’ we would love to see as many of you do this in uniform as possible\, so take a photo post it on our Facebook Live post\, tag us on twitter and Instagram or drop it to us via email at comms@hertfordshirescouts.org.uk
